Oregon Coast Tide-Pools June 2009

June 23rd 2009: The tide on the Oregon coast was extraorginarily low (-2.5 feet) and it opened up a special oppertunity to explore the tide-pools. We woke up at 6:15am and headed out to see what we could see: sea-stars, sea anemones, crabs, hermit-crabs, small fish, clams, barnacles, something that looked like caddisworm casings, lots of seaweed, great rock formations, and more. Peter enjoyed the new sights noises and smells, and we all had a fun time.
