We spent the Christmas week, 2003, in Texas with Erin's Mom, Mamu, and extended family as they dropped in.
We also got to meet Connor, Craig and Damian.
Plenty of thoughtful and wacky gift giving...
And lots of time by the way to share with Fancy (the donkey), Gretchen (the dog), and Mr Snooter, Figaro, and Bruiser the cats.

These pictures are of Green Jays, which rarely migrate so far north as Sinton Texas. This year there were dozens in and around Mamu's backyard.
Native wildlife allowed a rare treat... (for some naturalists). Erin's live earrings are not highly sought after, oddly.

And when we got home, the next morning, it snowed!
